Study the Psychology major in the Bachelor of Health Science degree and gain a broad understanding of psychological research and theory, and related ethical and legal issues.

Explore how people interact with the environment and each other, and how personal, biological, social and environmental factors influence behaviour. Entry criteria
Applicants must be 18 years old and have obtained a qualification equivalent to New Zealand year 13.
They must be capable of meeting Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act (HPCA Act) requirements and a Police clearance.
Applicants with two or more years of secondary and/or tertiary education outside New Zealand must meet IELTS requirements and will be interviewed.
Selection criteria
Preference will be given to applicants with the highest level of academic achievement and/or evidence of accomplishments in the relevant field
Interview may be required
English Language Requirements:
Minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 overall with all bands 5.5 or higher; TOEFL iBT score of 80; Computer-based: Total score of 213 with a minimum essay rating of 4.0; Certificate in English for Academic Study (CertEAS) with B/B+ grade; GIE with B grade; CAE minimum overall score of 169; PTE minimum overall score of 50.
